Lucy and Peter, about snow, about home
Lucy said: Every time visiting home is around Christmas, it’s snow white everywhere. That’s why I feel so happy seeing snow every single time, it reminds me of HOME.
About Peter – he is a really cool pilot. Silent most of the time, occasionally join our discussion with ‘en, OK’.
Lucy: Peter, I wanna do a snow pre-wedding shoot!
So one week later, we were all on the air to Queenstown.
Unfortunately, by the time we arrive, it was a full sunny day, snow was almost gone.
Lucy: Peter, I want lots of snow.
So that Peter cancelled the Queenstown accommodation,
got a rental van,
drove hundreds of kilometres to Mt Cook – because the satellite forecast said there would be snowstorm~
The Helicopter couldn’t fly coz the snow was so huge,
Peter put on the snow chain, and drive us all the way up to the top of the mountain.
Looked at the large snowflakes,
Lucy laughed out loud.
10 years ago, the boy who drove 2 hours from Mosman through Sydney all the way to Sutherland to pick you up from school;
grown up to be the man who flies you across the sea, carry you to the top of the Mt Cook,
Just because you wanna a snowman in your pre-wedding shoot.
So that Lucy you laugh out so loud, and laugh so happily.
Because where you want to go, where he would be, and with you two together, there is home.
